Kids drag colourful letter tiles onto a blackboard to build words, and earn a dragon each time they get one right.\n\nThree difficulty levels and two learning modes let a child start where they are and move up at their own pace — from first three-letter words through to longer, trickier spellings.\n\nHOW IT WORKS\n\nYour child sees a word to spell and a set of letter tiles. They drag the tiles into place on the blackboard. Get it right and a dragon appears as a reward. That's the whole loop — simple enough for a three-year-old to understand without an adult explaining it, and satisfying enough that they want the next dragon.\n\nTWO MODES\n\n• Learn mode — letter hints are shown, so your child can follow along and build confidence\n• Test mode — no hints, so they can prove they know it and collect dragons\n\nStart in Learn mode and move to Test mode when your child is ready. Many parents find children switch themselves once they realise Test mode is where the dragons are.\n\nTHREE DIFFICULTY LEVELS\n\n• Easy — short, simple words for children just starting to read\n• Medium — longer words and less predictable spellings\n• Hard — challenging words for confident spellers\n\nFOR PARENTS\n\n• No time limits and no pressure — children work at their own pace\n• No scores that punish mistakes; a wrong attempt simply gets tried again\n• Designed to be played independently, so your child can use it without you sitting alongside\n• Bright, clear visuals and large touch targets suited to small hands\n\nWHO IT'S FOR\n\n• Preschoolers starting to recognise letters and build their first words\n• Early primary children practising spelling alongside school\n• Children who find spelling worksheets dull and need something more playful\n• Parents looking for screen time that does something useful\n\nA+ Spelling Bee is made by Mobileroo, an Australian developer of learning apps for children.\n\nPRICING\n\nA+ Spelling Bee is free to download and includes one level completely FREE, so you can see whether your child enjoys it before subscribing. A subscription unlocks all levels and words:\n\n• $5.99 per month\n• $29.99 per year\n\nSUBSCRIPTION TERMS\n\nPrices shown are for United States customers.
