Rest a fingertip on the camera for about 20 seconds, or look into the front camera for a face scan. Unlimited free readings, no watch or chest strap.\n\nHeart racing, pounding or fluttering? Take a reading the moment it happens, note how you felt, and build a history you can show your doctor.\n\nThree ways to measure\n• Fingertip: a reading in about 20 seconds, with your heart wave drawn live\n• Face scan: look into the front camera and keep still\n• Deep scan (Premium): a 60 second fingertip reading with a beat-to-beat steadiness score out of 100\n\nLearn your usual range\nAfter 5 days of resting readings, AccuRate learns your usual range. Every new reading is compared with it, so you can see when your heart rate is higher or lower than usual for you.\n\nNote what was happening\nAdd how you feel, what you were doing and your position to each reading. When something feels off, look back and see how often it happens and what came before it.\n\nTrends and history\n• Week, month and year charts of resting and active heart rate\n• Time spent in each heart rate zone\n• Filter your history by how each reading was taken\n• Export a PDF with each reading's heart wave, or a CSV file, to share with your doctor\n\nGuided tests (Premium)\n• Heart rate variability (HRV), 1 min: daily readiness from your heart\n• Orthostatic heart rate, 8 min: how your heart adapts when you stand\n• Heart rate recovery, 3 min: how fast your heart settles after effort\n• VO2 max, 6 min: an estimate of your aerobic fitness\nResults are compared with people your age.\n\nWorks with your Apple devices\n• Saves readings to the Health app\n• Apple Watch app\n• Home Screen widget\n\nHeart rate zones\nOn every active reading, AccuRate works out your zone from your maximum heart rate: Resting, Recovery, Fat burning, Aerobic, Hard or Maximum.\n\nTypical resting heart rate\nAccording to the Mayo Clinic, a typical resting heart rate for adults is 60 to 100 bpm. Activity, fitness, stress, caffeine and emotion all move it. Talk to your doctor if your resting rate stays above 100 bpm, or below 60 bpm when you are not a trained athlete.\n\nAccuRate Premium\nUnlock the deep scan and all four guided tests, with no ads. Start with a 7 day free trial. Cancel any time in Settings.\n\nImportant\n• AccuRate is a wellness app, not a medical device.\n• It doesn't check heart rhythm or diagnose any condition.\n• If you're worried about your heart, talk to your doctor. If you have chest pain, call emergency services.\n\nTerms of Use: https://www.oxford-fitness.com/terms-of-use.html\nPrivacy Policy: https://www.oxford-fitness.com/privacy.html","facts":{"developer_id":1600041933,"developer_url":null,"first_released":"2021-12-21T08:00:00Z","support_url":null,"privacy_url":null,"website_url":null,"app_version":"3.6","release_notes":"New in this version:\n\n• Face scan: measure your heart rate by looking into the front camera\n• Deep scan (Premium): a 60 second fingertip reading with a beat-to-beat steadiness score\n• Steadier readings, with each beat timed on its own\n• Orthostatic, recovery and VO₂ max tests now compare your result with people like you\n• Export your history as a PDF with each reading's heart wave, or as a CSV file\n• Add what you were doing to each reading\n• A new design throughout","rating_current_version":4.6048,"rating_count_current_version":2500,"star_counts":null,"genres":["Health & Fitness","Medical"],"languages":["AR","NL","EN","FR","DE","IT","JA","KO","PT","RU","ZH","ES","SV","TH","ZH","TR"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":null,"made_for_iphone_duo":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-23T09:31:13.608Z","catalog_read_at":null,"reviews_checked_at":null,"summary_written_at":"2026-10-21T03:17:13.085Z","placed_at":"2026-10-19T09:19:11.705Z","scored_at":"2026-10-24T08:12:13.240Z"},"editorial":{"one_liner":"Measures heart rate with the phone camera using a fingertip or face scan, and keeps a history of readings with notes.","what_is":"AccuRate Heart Rate Monitor is a Health & Fitness app that estimates heart rate using the phone camera.
