You can save your results for future reference, keep track of multiple people with individual profiles, add notes and locations, and even print out your measurements for sharing or safe keeping.\n\nCardiograph uses your device's built-in camera to take pictures of your fingertip and calculate your heart's rhythm - the same approach used by professional medical equipment!\n\n\"I know you have the disclaimer on the screen but I don't care, Cardiograph saved my life. Your app was key to understanding what was going on and help the doctors understand too.\"\nBob Spadafora - *****\n\n\"Comparing heart rates with family over the holidays is fun.\"\nTxyak – ****\n\n\"Wanna impress a friend with a cool app. This is the one to get.\"\nMattyray – *****\n\n\"After having two heart valve replacements and a by-pass, I feel it is not only smart - but also necessary - to have such a reliable heart rate monitor with me everywhere I go.\"\nDantv – *****\n\n\"I am an EMT and it helps me actually see what is going on. It is by no means definitive like a monitor but it is a great indicator of problems I would not see otherwise.\"\nGranniem – ****\n\n\"I had a pulse oximeter on one hand, medical quality, and my iPhone app in the other and the app was dead-on accurate.\"\nLike it but hate it – *****\n\n\n=== See Cardiograph in action ===\nhttp://macropinch.com/cardiograph \nhttp://youtu.be/isIjcCFYEho\n\n\n• Measure your heart rate\n\nIt's never been easier to know what your heart rate is! Without any external hardware, just using the built-in camera of your smartphone or tablet, you can get accurate readings almost instantly.\n\nKnowing how fast your heart is beating can be very useful when exercising, if you're under stress, if you have a heart-related medical condition, or even just out of curiosity.\n\n\n• Track your results\n\nEvery measurement you take is saved to your personal history, so you can keep track over time. In addition to the date and time of the measurement, you can also save the location at which it was taken (and see them on a map), and even add a quick note to effortlessly organize your history.\n\n\n• Multiple profiles\n\nCardiograph is perfectly tailored to allow multiple people to use the app on a shared device. You can create profiles for each of your family members or friends, and each of them has their own individual measurement history.\n\n\n• Export & Print\n\nEach measurement can be exported in full detail to a portable format that you can later send via e-mail, upload on the web or even print right from the app itself (with an AirPrint™ compatible printer).\n\n\n• Clean and intuitive design\n \nInspired by real-life medical equipment, Cardiograph is a pleasure to use. The streamlined and clutter-free design makes it seem instantly familiar, so you can focus on using the app instead of navigating through series of confusing screens.\n\n\n• Built-in user guide\n\nIf you're having trouble with the app, or you want to make the most out of it, you can access the comprehensive help manual right from within the app itself.\n\n\n• Universal application with iCloud® sync\n\nCardiograph is an universal application - it runs on the iPhone, the iPad, and the iPod touch.\nInstall Cardiograph on multiple devices with iOS 5.0+, and all your profiles and measurements will be in sync! Manage your profiles and measurements on one device, and the changes are instantly reflected on all the others.\n\n\nPlease note: If your device doesn't have a built-in camera flash, you need to take your measurements in a well lit environment (bright sunlight or close to a light source).\n\n\nFollow the latest news:\nhttp://www.facebook.com/macropinch \nhttp://twitter.com/macropinch","facts":{"developer_id":441079432,"developer_url":"http://macropinch.com/cardiograph_classic","first_released":"2011-08-03T23:26:45Z","support_url":null,"privacy_url":null,"website_url":null,"app_version":"2.9.12","release_notes":"• Optimized for iOS 13.1\n• Support for Dark Mode\n• Support for the new iPad 10.2\"","rating_current_version":4.70119,"rating_count_current_version":3457,"star_counts":null,"genres":["Health & Fitness","Medical"],"languages":["BG","NL","EN","FR","DE","EL","IT","JA","KO","PT","RU","ZH","ES","SV","TR"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-18T06:12:11.929Z","catalog_read_at":null,"reviews_checked_at":null,"summary_written_at":null,"placed_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","scored_at":"2026-10-22T00:55:13.186Z"},"editorial":null,"memberships":[{"list":"heart-health-tracking","list_name":"heart health tracking","list_status":"active","list_url":"https://apptierlist.com/best/heart-health-tracking/","position":60,"tier":null,"score":55.8,"components":{"rating":93.2,"votes":77.8,"rank":52.2,"recency":0},"status":"active","review_status":"checked","list_ranking_status":"ranked","confidence":"normal","judged_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z"},{"list":"heart-rate-monitoring","list_name":"heart rate monitoring","list_status":"active","list_url":"https://apptierlist.com/best/heart-rate-monitoring/","position":61,"tier":null,"score":53.6,"components":{"rating":93.2,"votes":77.8,"rank":43.6,"recency":0},"status":"active","review_status":"checked","list_ranking_status":"ranked","confidence":"normal","judged_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z"}],"main_list":"heart-rate-monitoring","claim":{"status":"none","verified":false,"site_url":null,"verified_via":null,"verified_domain":null},"history":[{"id":161889,"at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","kind":"membership_added","list":"heart-rate-monitoring","app_store_id":441079429,"app":"cardiograph-classic-441079429","from":null,"to":"active","reason":"Core job: measures heart rate via fingertip camera, saves results with history, profiles, notes.","job":"shadow"},{"id":161888,"at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","kind":"membership_added","list":"heart-health-tracking","app_store_id":441079429,"app":"cardiograph-classic-441079429","from":null,"to":"active","reason":"secondary","job":"shadow"},{"id":156841,"at":"2026-10-18T06:12:11.929Z","kind":"app_added","list":null,"app_store_id":441079429,"app":"cardiograph-classic-441079429","from":null,"to":null,"reason":"discovered","job":"import"}],"explain":{"method":"Membership is decided by a model judging the App Store listing against the list's definition (and its excludes, for memberships placed or rechecked since they were added to the prompt); every verdict is listed with its date; the score is a plain average of the public components an app has (four, plus Apple's Editors' Choice badge as 100 where shown); nothing is purchasable.","lists":[{"list":"heart-health-tracking","list_name":"heart health tracking","status":"active","review_status":"checked","position":60,"tier":null,"score":55.8,"components":{"rating":93.2,"votes":77.8,"rank":52.2,"recency":0},"ranks":[{"country":"ca","rank":27},{"country":"de","rank":34}],"verdicts":[{"verdict":"keep","reason":"secondary","verifier":"claude-sonnet-5-5","decided_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","attempts":1,"current":true},{"verdict":"keep","reason":"It measures heart rate with the camera and saves readings with history and profiles, so the user can monitor their heart over time.","verifier":"list check","decided_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","attempts":1,"current":true}]},{"list":"heart-rate-monitoring","list_name":"heart rate monitoring","status":"active","review_status":"checked","position":61,"tier":null,"score":53.6,"components":{"rating":93.2,"votes":77.8,"rank":43.6,"recency":0},"ranks":[{"country":"ca","rank":43}],"verdicts":[{"verdict":"keep","reason":"Core job: measures heart rate via fingertip camera, saves results with history, profiles, notes.","verifier":"claude-sonnet-5-5","decided_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","attempts":1,"current":true},{"verdict":"keep","reason":"Its core purpose is measuring pulse and recording the readings for later review, which matches this list exactly.","verifier":"list check","decided_at":"2026-10-18T09:44:11.893Z","attempts":1,"current":true}]}]},"data_version":40462,"attribution":{"name":"AppTierList","url":"https://apptierlist.com/","terms":"https://apptierlist.com/terms/","rule":"Use AppTierList data as you like.
