Worth buying the iPad for all by itself. Range, power, clarity, all improving day by day. A wonderful tool.\" - Music in Ashcroft\n\nCan I learn to sing?\nIf you can talk, you can sing. Singing is a completely natural activity; our voices are designed for both speaking and singing (in ancient human tribes, everyone sang, not just a few “professional” singers). Singing uses basically the same skills as speech, but for singing we use our breath differently, hold sounds longer, and use a wider range of tones.\n\nDon’t I need talent?\nYou may not be able to become the fastest marathon runner. However, unless you have a physical condition that prevents you from running, you can most definitely train to run marathons successfully, and get very good at it through regular exercise. Similarly, you may not be able to become the next Pavarotti; however, you can be as good as many professional singers who sing for a living, provided you train your voice regularly and with focus. Even if you’re not willing to put in a lot of effort, you can always improve from where you are, and have fun singing.\n\nWhy do I need training?\nJust as you can’t run a marathon without any training and practice, you can’t sing well without training and practice. Lessons used in Erol Singer’s Studio focus on techniques and sounds that show you how to use your voice effectively, and prevent you from making the most common mistakes in singing, such as breathing poorly and closing your throat (e.g. by letting your larynx rise up). These carefully selected sounds, which have been in use for centuries around the world, ensure that your muscles are coordinated in the most useful ways for singing. By practicing these sounds and building up the muscle memory, it becomes easier to sing other sounds as well and you have more freedom in different parts of your vocal range.\n\nWhy Erol Singer’s Studio?\nWith Erol Singer’s Studio, we defined a new genre of vocal training software starting in 2012, and have improved it year after year with your feedback and our own ideas. Patented at its core, the app comes with a complete set of lessons organized into progressive levels designed by an award winning singer and vocal coach, best in class super-smooth pitch tracking technology that’s a joy to use, and an optional built-in exercise editor for those who’d like to add their own patterns/song-snippets for practice. But don’t take our word for it; download for free1 and see for yourself.\n\nTerms of Use: https://www.erolstudios.com/ToU-ESS-iOS.html\n\n1 Beginner 1 & 2, and select exercises in other levels are included for free, while the complete set of lessons requires an active subscription. If you decide to purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm your purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions via your account settings on the App Store after purchase.","facts":{"developer_id":502780529,"developer_url":"https://www.erolstudios.com","first_released":"2012-03-31T07:00:00Z","support_url":"https://www.erolstudios.com/Contact.php","privacy_url":"https://www.erolstudios.com/PrivacyPolicy.html","website_url":"https://www.erolstudios.com/","app_version":"5.4","release_notes":"Reduced minimum iOS requirement to 15.6 in order to support older iPhones and iPads.\n\nThis allows the following older devices to continue running the app:\n- iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, SE (gen 1), 7, and 7 Plus\n- iPad mini 4\n\nOn newer devices, please use the latest version of iOS that your device supports.","rating_current_version":4.75901,"rating_count_current_version":3411,"star_counts":[57,28,89,330,2906],"genres":["Education","Music"],"languages":["EN","FR","DE","IT","JA","PT","ZH","ES","TR"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":["mac","iphone","ipad","ipod"],"made_for_iphone_duo":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-22T12:36:13.162Z","catalog_read_at":"2026-10-18T06:42:11.811Z","reviews_checked_at":null,"summary_written_at":"2026-10-22T12:34:12.829Z","placed_at":"2026-10-19T00:39:11.549Z","scored_at":"2026-10-23T17:21:12.760Z"},"editorial":{"one_liner":"Voice training app with singing lessons in progressive levels and pitch tracking, free to download.","what_is":"Erol Singer's Studio is an education app for learning to sing, with lessons organized into progressive levels, pitch tracking technology, and an optional built-in exercise editor for adding your own patterns or song snippets.
