The macOS version has been popular for over 20 years as a screensaver module with a design that has remained unchanged since its first release in 2002, and this iOS/iPadOS version has the exact same design. The highly visible font and large display make it easy to see the time even from a distance. The understated monotone matte black finish won’t distract you or hinder your productivity during extended use in your daily life or at work. When displayed in full screen, it blends seamlessly into the device and your living space, like a minimalist piece of interior decor. This is why photos of the app are often shared on social media as part of a room’s interior, rather than just screenshots.\n\nFEATURES:\n- Switchable between 12/24 hour display\n- Switchable between portrait and landscape mode\n- Option to display seconds when tapping the screen\n- Dimmable\n- Flaps can be displayed/hidden\n- Display size can be reduced\n- Sleep Timer to activate the device’s auto-lock settings after a certain time\n\nNOTES:\n- This app does not start automatically like macOS screensaver.\n- This clock cannot replace your device’s Lock Screen or StandBy mode.\n- Your device’s auto-lock is disabled while this clock is active in the foreground.\n\nTERMS OF USE:\nhttps://fliqlo.com/store/terms-of-use.html","facts":{"developer_id":549135474,"developer_url":null,"first_released":"2014-07-27T15:52:19Z","support_url":null,"privacy_url":null,"website_url":null,"app_version":"2.4","release_notes":"- Added support for the iPhone Duo layout\n- Fixed minor bugs","rating_current_version":4.75352,"rating_count_current_version":2341,"star_counts":null,"genres":["Lifestyle","Productivity"],"languages":["DA","NL","EN","FI","FR","DE","EL","ID","IT","JA","KO","MS","NB","PT","RU","ZH","ES","SV","TH","ZH","TR","UK","VI"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-19T06:49:12.515Z","catalog_read_at":null,"reviews_checked_at":null,"summary_written_at":null,"placed_at":"2026-10-19T13:14:11.686Z","scored_at":"2026-10-20T13:37:11.600Z"},"editorial":null,"memberships":[{"list":"clock","list_name":"clock","list_status":"active","list_url":"https://apptierlist.com/best/clock/","position":27,"tier":"C","score":67.2,"components":{"rating":95.1,"votes":73.7,"rank":0,"recency":100},"status":"active","review_status":"checked","list_ranking_status":"ranked","confidence":"provisional","judged_at":"2026-10-19T13:14:11.686Z"}],"main_list":"clock","claim":{"status":"none","verified":false,"site_url":null,"verified_via":null,"verified_domain":null},"history":[{"id":177208,"at":"2026-10-19T13:39:11.605Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"clock","app_store_id":900833042,"app":"fliqlo-900833042","from":null,"to":"C","reason":"score 67.2","job":"rescore"},{"id":176792,"at":"2026-10-19T13:14:11.686Z","kind":"membership_added","list":"clock","app_store_id":900833042,"app":"fliqlo-900833042","from":null,"to":"active","reason":"A flip clock app whose core job is showing the current time on a large, highly visible display, with 12/24 hour switching.","job":"shadow"},{"id":171992,"at":"2026-10-19T06:49:12.515Z","kind":"app_added","list":null,"app_store_id":900833042,"app":"fliqlo-900833042","from":null,"to":null,"reason":"discovered","job":"import"}],"explain":{"method":"Membership is decided by a model judging the App Store listing against the list's definition (and its excludes, for memberships placed or rechecked since they were added to the prompt); every verdict is listed with its date; the score is a plain average of the public components an app has (four, plus Apple's Editors' Choice badge as 100 where shown); nothing is purchasable.","lists":[{"list":"clock","list_name":"clock","status":"active","review_status":"checked","position":27,"tier":"C","score":67.2,"components":{"rating":95.1,"votes":73.7,"rank":0,"recency":100},"ranks":[],"verdicts":[{"verdict":"keep","reason":"A flip clock app whose core job is showing the current time on a large, highly visible display, with 12/24 hour switching.","verifier":"claude-sonnet-5-5","decided_at":"2026-10-19T13:14:11.686Z","attempts":1,"current":true},{"verdict":"keep","reason":"Fliqlo's main purpose is showing the current time as a full-screen flip clock.
