On top of GIFs, emoji search, and Glide Typing, the power of Google is at your fingertips with Google Search built in. Forget switching from app to app – just search and send, all from one place.\n \nGIFs — Search GIFs for the best reaction\n \nEmoji Search — Find the perfect emoji, faster\n \nStickers - Create or share stickers to express yourself\n \nGlide Typing — Type faster by sliding your finger from letter to letter\n \nSearch and send anything from Google:\n• Nearby stores and restaurants\n• Videos and images\n• Weather forecasts\n• News and articles\n• Sports scores\n• And anything else you’d search on Google\n \nGboard for iPhone and iPad supports the following languages:\n• Afrikaans\n• Arabic\n• Azerbaijani\n• Belarusian\n• Bengali\n• Bulgarian\n• Catalan\n• Croatian\n• Czech\n• Danish\n• Dutch\n• English\n• Estonian\n• Finnish\n• French\n• German\n• Greek\n• Gujarati\n• Hausa\n• Hebrew\n• Hindi\n• Hungarian\n• Icelandic\n• Indonesian\n• Italian\n• Japanese\n• Khmer\n• Korean\n• Latvian\n• Lithuanian\n• Macedonian\n• Malay\n• Maltese\n• Marathi\n• Norwegian\n• Persian\n• Polish\n• Portuguese (Brazil)\n• Portuguese ( Portugal)\n• Romanian\n• Russian\n• Serbian\n• Simplified Chinese\n• Slovak\n• Slovenian\n• Spanish\n• Swahili\n• Swedish\n• Tamil\n• Telugu\n• Thai\n• Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)\n• Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong)\n• Turkish\n• Ukrainian\n• Vietnamese\n• Welsh\n• Zulu\n \nPrivacy\nWe know the things you type on your phone are personal, so we’ve designed Gboard to keep your private information private.\n \nWhat Gboard sends to Google:\n• Gboard sends your searches to Google’s web servers to give you search results.\n• Gboard also sends usage statistics to Google to let us know which features are used most often and to help us understand problems if the app crashes.\n• If you use Gboard’s microphone, voice input will be sent to Google for transcription.\n \nWhat Gboard doesn’t send to Google:\n• Other than your searches and voice inputs, Gboard doesn't send anything you type to Google, whether it’s a password or chat with a friend.\n• To help you with spelling and to predict searches you might be interested in, Gboard will store the words you type on your device. This data is not accessible by Google or by any apps, and can be cleared at any time.\n• If you’ve turned on contacts search in Gboard search settings, this allows Gboard to search the contacts on your device so you can easily share. None of these queries are sent to Google.","facts":{"developer_id":281956209,"developer_url":null,"first_released":"2016-05-12T12:32:16Z","support_url":"https://support.google.com/websearch/?p=Gboard_iOS","privacy_url":"https://www.google.com/policies/privacy","website_url":null,"app_version":"2.3.19","release_notes":"In this version we have: \n• Language improvements for Cantonese (new Jyutping input method, fuzzy selection)","rating_current_version":4.05758,"rating_count_current_version":60349,"star_counts":[7813,3329,4348,6921,37901],"genres":["Utilities"],"languages":["AF","SQ","AM","AR","HY","AZ","EU","BE","BN","BS","BG","MY","KM","CA","HR","CS","DA","NL","EN","ET","FI","FR","GL","KA","DE","EL","GU","HE","HI","HU","IS","ID","IT","JA","KN","KK","KO","KY","LO","LV","LN","LT","MK","MS","ML","MT","MR","MN","NE","NB","FA","PL","PT","PA","RO","RU","SR","ZH","SI","SK","SL","ES","SW","SV","TL","TA","TE","TH","ZH","TR","UK","UR","UZ","VI","CY","ZU"],"content_advisories":["Infrequent/Mild Sexual Content and Nudity"],"device_families":["iphone","ipad","ipod"],"chart":{"name":"top-free Utilities","position":106}},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-17T05:45:13.594Z","catalog_read_at":"2026-10-15T11:11:36.041Z","reviews_checked_at":"2026-10-11T04:46:53.616Z","summary_written_at":null,"placed_at":"2026-10-09T03:59:53.925Z","scored_at":"2026-10-21T04:35:13.709Z"},"editorial":null,"memberships":[{"list":"keyboard-customization","list_name":"keyboard customization","list_status":"active","list_url":"https://apptierlist.com/best/keyboard-customization/","position":53,"tier":null,"score":63.8,"components":{"rating":73.3,"votes":89.1,"rank":92.6,"recency":0},"status":"active","review_status":"checked","list_ranking_status":"ranked","confidence":"normal","judged_at":"2026-10-09T03:59:53.925Z"}],"main_list":null,"claim":{"status":"none","verified":false,"site_url":null,"verified_via":null,"verified_domain":null},"history":[{"id":147489,"at":"2026-10-17T15:49:13.421Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":"C","to":null,"reason":"rank shift: #42, below the tiered top 40","job":"rescore"},{"id":141127,"at":"2026-10-17T04:53:13.387Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":null,"to":"C","reason":"checked from the list's side: ranked #35","job":"rescore"},{"id":107977,"at":"2026-10-15T15:30:00.489Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":"C","to":null,"reason":"under review: not checked from the list's side yet","job":"rescore"},{"id":39697,"at":"2026-10-09T09:42:03.429Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":"F","to":"C","reason":"score 64","job":"rescore"},{"id":35092,"at":"2026-10-09T04:36:02.345Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":null,"to":"F","reason":"score 40.6","job":"rescore"},{"id":31430,"at":"2026-10-09T03:59:53.925Z","kind":"membership_added","list":"keyboard-customization","app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":null,"to":"active","reason":"secondary","job":"fill"},{"id":23842,"at":"2026-10-09T03:10:04.928Z","kind":"app_added","list":null,"app_store_id":1091700242,"app":"gboard-the-google-keyboard-1091700242","from":null,"to":null,"reason":"discovered","job":"fill"}],"explain":{"method":"Membership is decided by a model judging the App Store listing against the list's definition (and its excludes, for memberships placed or rechecked since they were added to the prompt); every verdict is listed with its date; the score is a plain average of the public components an app has (four, plus Apple's Editors' Choice badge as 100 where shown); nothing is purchasable.","lists":[{"list":"keyboard-customization","list_name":"keyboard customization","status":"active","review_status":"checked","position":53,"tier":null,"score":63.8,"components":{"rating":73.3,"votes":89.1,"rank":92.6,"recency":0},"ranks":[{"country":"gb","rank":14},{"country":"ca","rank":3},{"country":"au","rank":3},{"country":"de","rank":7},{"country":"us","rank":15}],"verdicts":[{"verdict":"keep","reason":"Gboard is a full replacement iPhone keyboard with glide typing, themes, GIFs and emoji.
