I compared it to a monitor I have for my fingers to measure my heartbeat and I done old fashion pulse check and count method. Both times I tested and compared, it was dead on.\"\n\nHOW IT WORKS\n▸Place and lightly hold your forefinger on the back camera lens and stay still. The heart rate is shown after few seconds.\n▸Do not press too hard when you measure your pulse heart rate, otherwise blood circulation will be altered and the results in your pulse app could be affected.\n▸Make sure there is a bright background, otherwise the app won't be able to detect your heartbeat. \n▸The camera flash can help to create a bright background. It will get hot, don't burn yourself.\n\nMEDICAL DISCLAIMER\n· iHeart should not be used as a medical device in the diagnosis of heart diseases\n· Please seek a doctor’s advice in addition to using this app and before making any medical decisions\n· iHeart is not intended for a medical emergency. Consult your primary care physician if you need any help\n· In some devices, iHeart may make the LED flash very hot\n\nSUPPORT\n- Website: https://www.iheart.io\n- Terms: https://www.iheart.io/terms.html\n- Privacy: https://www.iheart.io/privacy.html\n\nCONTACT US\nIf you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to send us an email at feedbackiheart@gmail.com. \n\nFOLLOW US\nStay tuned to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/iHeartApp/ for more information!\nWe’d love to hear from you.","facts":{"developer_id":1466922521,"developer_url":"https://www.iheart.io","first_released":"2019-09-04T07:00:00Z","support_url":null,"privacy_url":null,"website_url":null,"app_version":"4.7.6","release_notes":"1、performance optimization\n2、fixed bugs","rating_current_version":4.625,"rating_count_current_version":2872,"star_counts":null,"genres":["Health & Fitness","Medical"],"languages":["EN","ZH","ZH"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":null,"made_for_iphone_duo":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-23T09:31:13.608Z","catalog_read_at":null,"reviews_checked_at":null,"summary_written_at":"2026-10-21T04:25:13.697Z","placed_at":"2026-10-19T05:43:11.695Z","scored_at":"2026-10-24T08:12:13.240Z"},"editorial":{"one_liner":"Uses the phone's back camera and flash to measure heart rate, pulse and heart rate variability, with tags and history.","what_is":"Heart Rate Monitor is a Health & Fitness app that measures heart rate, pulse rate and heart rate variability (HRV) using the back camera.
