Whether your loved one is in a federal, state, county, or city facility, we help you send real, physical mail — without the stress of you having to figure out what is and isn't allowed. We serve over 4,000 correctional facilities across the United States and specialize in handling complex prison mail rules, ensuring your package is delivered to your incarcerated loved one.\n\nYou can send full-color photo prints, personalized letters, greeting cards, photobooks, calendars, postcards, Sudoku puzzles, crossword puzzles, how-to-draw tutorials, and even inmate-focused books like jailhouse cookbooks. We already offer great pricing, but our bundle deals and subscriptions make it even more affordable — so your loved one never feels forgotten.\n\nMost people don’t know the rules of the facility they’re mailing to — that’s where we come in. Inmate Photos® automatically shows jail-specific rules at the time of upload, including photo restrictions and content guidelines. If a facility has a photo limit, we’ll automatically space out your order to stay compliant. You don’t need to figure anything out — we guide you through it every step of the way.\n\nUnlike some other apps, we specialize in accuracy and compliance. While Pelipost, FreePrints, GTL Getting Out, Access Corrections, Securus Technologies, JPay, Corrlinks, Text Behind app, Pigeonly, and ICSolutions may offer inmate-related services, Inmate Photos® stands out by doing the hard part for you — helping your mail meet jail requirements from the start.\n\nYour support matters! Staying connected helps reduce recidivism and creates a lasting, positive impact on the lives of incarcerated men and women. Every photo or letter is a reminder that they’re not forgotten. At Inmate Photos®, we’re proud to help you deliver hope and connection when it’s needed most.","facts":{"developer_id":1547234991,"developer_url":"https://www.inmatephotos.com/","first_released":"2021-07-19T07:00:00Z","support_url":"https://www.inmatephotos.com/support/","privacy_url":"https://www.inmatephotos.com/privacy-policy/","website_url":"https://www.inmatephotos.com/","app_version":"4.2.5","release_notes":"We’ve redesigned the Inmate Photos® app to make staying connected easier, faster, and more meaningful.\n\n- Send more than just photos — now offering greeting cards, calendars, and photobooks \n- New AI-assisted letter writing to help you say what’s in your heart \n- Smoother navigation and improved app performance \n- Updated design for a more intuitive experience\n\nWe’re here to help you deliver real support — one message, photo, or card at a time.","rating_current_version":4.6786,"rating_count_current_version":15386,"star_counts":[456,212,654,1169,12852],"genres":["Photo & Video","Social Networking"],"languages":["EN"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":["iphone","ipad","ipod"],"made_for_iphone_duo":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-21T11:13:12.641Z","catalog_read_at":"2026-10-16T20:50:52.025Z","reviews_checked_at":"2026-10-15T17:30:00.515Z","summary_written_at":null,"placed_at":"2026-10-15T01:31:53.108Z","scored_at":"2026-10-22T20:26:14.510Z"},"editorial":null,"memberships":[{"list":"photo-printing","list_name":"photo printing","list_status":"active","list_url":"https://apptierlist.com/best/photo-printing/","position":38,"tier":"C","score":68.9,"components":{"rating":93.6,"votes":81.9,"rank":0,"recency":100},"status":"active","review_status":"checked","list_ranking_status":"ranked","confidence":"provisional","judged_at":"2026-10-15T01:31:53.108Z"}],"main_list":null,"claim":{"status":"none","verified":false,"site_url":null,"verified_via":null,"verified_domain":null},"maker":null,"history":[{"id":107258,"at":"2026-10-15T15:15:01.036Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"photo-printing","app_store_id":1547234989,"app":"inmate-photos-send-to-prison-1547234989","from":"D","to":"C","reason":"rank shift: #7, score unchanged at 68.9","job":"rescore"},{"id":90900,"at":"2026-10-15T02:03:53.108Z","kind":"tier_changed","list":"photo-printing","app_store_id":1547234989,"app":"inmate-photos-send-to-prison-1547234989","from":null,"to":"D","reason":"score 68.9","job":"rescore"},{"id":90195,"at":"2026-10-15T01:31:53.108Z","kind":"membership_added","list":"photo-printing","app_store_id":1547234989,"app":"inmate-photos-send-to-prison-1547234989","from":null,"to":"active","reason":"The app is built around ordering full-color physical photo prints from the phone and mailing them to jails and prisons, as in its name and subtitle 'Order pictu","job":"shadow"},{"id":83041,"at":"2026-10-14T15:44:19.782Z","kind":"app_added","list":null,"app_store_id":1547234989,"app":"inmate-photos-send-to-prison-1547234989","from":null,"to":null,"reason":"discovered","job":"import"}],"explain":{"method":"Membership is decided by a model judging the App Store listing against the list's definition (and its excludes, for memberships placed or rechecked since they were added to the prompt); every verdict is listed with its date; the score is a plain average of the public components an app has (four, plus Apple's Editors' Choice badge as 100 where shown); nothing is purchasable.","lists":[{"list":"photo-printing","list_name":"photo printing","status":"active","review_status":"checked","position":38,"tier":"C","score":68.9,"components":{"rating":93.6,"votes":81.9,"rank":0,"recency":100},"ranks":[],"verdicts":[{"verdict":"keep","reason":"The app is built around ordering full-color physical photo prints from the phone and mailing them to jails and prisons, as in its name and subtitle 'Order pictu","verifier":"claude-sonnet-5-5","decided_at":"2026-10-15T01:31:53.108Z","attempts":1,"current":false},{"verdict":"keep","reason":"approved from the list's side","verifier":"list check","decided_at":"2026-10-15T01:31:53.108Z","attempts":1,"current":false}]}]},"data_version":41402,"attribution":{"name":"AppTierList","url":"https://apptierlist.com/","terms":"https://apptierlist.com/terms/","rule":"Use AppTierList data as you like.
