MEETING AND LECTURE NOTES\nRecord with audio or video cards; Notebook AI turns it into searchable text with timestamps, so you jump straight to the decision instead of replaying it. Structured minutes with title, participants, decisions and action points sit in the note beside your highlights. Record screen and self at once; longer videos get chapters.\n\n2. STUDY AND RESEARCH\nRecord lectures and search the transcript weeks later. Scan textbooks and business cards, handwrite and sketch with Apple Pencil, use OCR to find text inside photos and handwritten notes, so nothing you captured becomes unfindable. A long note becomes an AI mind map before an exam.\n\n3. DAILY TO-DOS AND JOURNALING\nDedicated checklist cards keep tasks beside your notes, and recurring reminders keep them on schedule. Journaling prompts come from your own activity, easier to keep than a blank page.\n\n4. FILES, SCANS, AND SAVED READING\nAdd PDFs, Word docs and spreadsheets with file cards. Articles, videos, recipes and how-tos become Smart Cards, formatted automatically, readable offline and ad-free. Group it all into nested collections.\n\nQUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK\n\nIs it free?\nYes, with 2GB of free storage and no ads. Notebook Pro adds more storage, longer notes, larger attachments, Email-In to save emails as notes, premium covers, and custom recurring reminders.\n\nCan I move my notes from Evernote, Google Keep, or OneNote?\nYes, with dedicated migration tools; it arrives organized.\n\nIs my data private?\nNotes are encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data and never show ads. Lock notes or notebooks with a password, Touch ID or Face ID; previews stay hidden until unlocked.\n\nDoes it work offline?\nYes. Create, edit and read offline, then pick up on another device once it syncs to the cloud.\n\nWhat can Notebook AI do?\nTranscribe audio and video, build mind maps, summarize and simplify, fix grammar, set tone (casual, professional, friendly, direct, or confident), translate into any language, draft notes, checklists, tables, code or a template from a prompt, and suggest tags. Notebook AI is a separate add-on.\n\nDoes it use on-device AI and Siri?\nYes. An on-device Knowledge Graph links ideas across notebooks and answers questions from your own notes. Siri creates and updates notes by voice with the app closed, and On-Screen Awareness summarizes what's on screen without switching apps.\n\nCan I share with non-users?\nYes. @mention people to collaborate in real time, or publish a public note or video by link.\n\nMORE INSIDE\n- Search by title, content, tag, collaborator, or notebook; filter by any card type, contact, or link; search within one note; sort by date or relevance, with auto-suggestions and recent searches, offline and across languages\n- iPhone: text-search audio notes, share via iMessage, dictate with Siri, recent notes from the Notification Bar, SharePlay in calls\n- iPad: drag and drop, split view, slide over, multiple windows, Stage Manager\n- Apple Watch: record audio, scribble notes, check off lists, add photo notes, record in one tap from a watch face complication\n- VoiceOver and a dark interface\n- Roll back to any of a note's last 10 versions\n\nSubscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled and are charged to your Apple Account. Prices vary by location. Manage in your account settings.\n\nPrivacy - https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html\nTerms - https://www.zoho.com/terms.html","facts":{"developer_id":388384807,"developer_url":"https://zoho.com/notebook","first_released":"2016-05-22T17:26:49Z","support_url":"https://help.zoho.com/portal/zohocorp/home","privacy_url":"https://www.zoho.com/privacy.html","website_url":"https://zoho.com/notebook","app_version":"7.0","release_notes":"Introducing the new To-Do tab in Notebook.\n\n• Break tasks into subtasks and tackle everything step by step.\n• Assign tasks to the right people and keep your work moving.\n• Set due dates and never let a deadline catch you off guard.\n• Get reminders at the right time and stay on top of what matters.\n• Set priorities and always know what needs your attention first.\n\nIf you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@zohonotebook.com.","rating_current_version":4.70138,"rating_count_current_version":23850,"star_counts":[601,281,735,2405,19828],"genres":["Productivity","Utilities"],"languages":["AR","BN","NL","EN","FR","DE","GU","HI","IT","JA","KN","KO","ML","MR","NB","OR","PL","PT","PA","RU","ZH","ES","SV","TA","TE","ZH","TR","VI"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":["watch","iphone","ipad"],"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-19T14:42:11.697Z","catalog_read_at":"2026-10-19T14:42:11.697Z","reviews_checked_at":"2026-10-18T03:52:11.700Z","summary_written_at":"2026-10-15T11:07:36.095Z","placed_at":"2026-10-14T12:37:19.782Z","scored_at":"2026-10-19T14:41:11.700Z"},"editorial":{"one_liner":"Free, ad-free app for typed, handwritten, voice and scanned notes with AI transcription and sync across devices.","what_is":"Notebook is a note-taking app for capturing, finding and reusing notes in one place.
