Stars Messenger Kids lets you safely message, call, and group video chat with your family and friends without any phone number, strangers, or ads.\n\nOn most messaging platforms, once your phone number or username is publicly discovered, you are no longer in control of who can contact you. Stars is safe by design - instead of searching for people to add, users need their friend’s username as well as their unique private Friend Code. With the ability to reset your Friend Code, you are always in control of who can connect with you. All group chats are also protected with a unique group code. \n\nParents can also optionally enable Parent View for their child. Parent View allows you the ability to see who your child is friends with, the groups they're in, their time spent on Stars, and more. You'll receive notifications in real time upon your child's activity. \n\n\nStars Messenger Kids isn’t just safe, it’s super fun too: \n\nCustomizable message styles with a range of fonts, colors, and sizes\nCool emojis!\nGroup video call\nSend custom quick messages with just 1 tap - “On my way!”, “What’s for dinner?”\nShare Photos, Videos, and Audio messages with friends and family\nCreate private group chats with family and friends\nSupports all devices\n\n\nWe guarantee:\n\nStars Messenger Kids App is free to use\nWorks on smartphones and tablets\nA 100% safe, private, phishing and spam-free environment\nNo ads.\nA friend code that you can reset at anytime\nNo phone number is required to use Stars Messenger Kids\nLots of fun and memories!\n\n\nDOWNLOAD STARS MESSENGER KIDS TODAY!\n\nWhat are you waiting for? You can reset this for a new randomly generated code at any time. To add a friend on Stars, you will need to ask them for their username and friend code, and to be added on Stars, they will need your username and friend code.\n\n\nQ: I don’t want to talk to someone anymore on Stars. What should I do?\n\nA: Step one is to delete the person you no longer want to talk to. After you delete the person from your contacts, you will be prompted to reset your Friend Code - this way, the person you have blocked will have no way to add you again. All done! This is unlike a phone number, email, or public username, which you cannot just easily change to avoid someone. \n\n\nQ: Can I decline add requests?\n\nA: Yes! On Stars, you must first accept add requests first for that person to be able to message you. If you don’t know the person, or don’t want to talk to them, you can decline the request.\n\n\nTerms of Use:\n\nhttps://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/","facts":{"developer_id":1785760178,"developer_url":"https://getstarsapp.com","first_released":"2014-10-05T12:22:25Z","support_url":"https://getstarsapp.com/","privacy_url":"https://media.getstarsapp.com/legal.html","website_url":"https://getstarsapp.com/","app_version":"2.0.158","release_notes":"Video upload bug fixes","rating_current_version":4.66238,"rating_count_current_version":4982,"star_counts":[150,72,187,491,4071],"genres":["Social Networking","Photo & Video"],"languages":["EN","FR","DE","ES"],"content_advisories":null,"device_families":["iphone","ipad","ipod"],"made_for_iphone_duo":null,"chart":null},"freshness":{"apple_read_at":"2026-10-21T21:57:13.037Z","catalog_read_at":"2026-10-18T13:49:11.699Z","reviews_checked_at":"2026-10-18T13:49:11.699Z","summary_written_at":"2026-10-18T02:48:11.789Z","placed_at":"2026-10-18T02:39:11.692Z","scored_at":"2026-10-23T08:53:12.786Z"},"editorial":{"one_liner":"Free messaging, calling and group video chat app for kids and families, with a reset-able Friend Code and no ads or.","what_is":"Stars Messenger Kids is a Social Networking app for messaging, calling and group video chat with family and friends.
