Description
Awaken is an alarm clock that makes you prove you're awake. A normal alarm asks nothing of you. You reach out, you tap snooze, and you're gone again. Awaken replaces that tap with a mission - a small task you have to complete before the alarm will stop. HOW IT WORKS Set your wake time. Choose a mission. When the alarm rings, it keeps ringing until the mission is done. MISSIONS • Photo missions - get out of bed and photograph something specific. Checked in seconds. • Voice missions - say a phrase out loud. A live waveform shows the mic is listening. • Shake missions - shake your phone until the dial fills. Works offline. • Math missions - solve three quick problems. Checked on-device, offline. WHY A MISSION WORKS Snoozing starts a sleep cycle your brain can't finish, which is why the second alarm feels worse than the first. A mission interrupts that loop by making you move. Movement and morning light are what actually end sleep inertia - not willpower. BUILT TO ACTUALLY GO OFF Awaken's alarm runs as a native foreground service, so it survives the app being closed or the phone being restarted. The app guides you through the permissions that keep it reliable. ALSO INCLUDED
